The county council is responsible for major areas that impact on people’s lives, from the cradle to the grave:

• education, including special needs;
• transport, including buses and roads;
• social care;
• environment;
• waste management
• and much more

Under conservative control, these services have been starved of support, and cut back to the bone. Labour believes you deserve better, is looking to change that. But we can only do it if you get out and vote for us. All we ask is for the privilege to serve.

Our candidates for the elections on May 1st have been decided by local members.
