The deadline to register to vote is 23:59 BST today, Friday 11 April; and by 17:00 on Monday 14 April for postal votes. You can do this online .

Postal votes should be returned in good time, following the instructions on the envelopes. If you’re late, they can be cast up to the close of poll, either at the Civic Centre; or by handing in at a Polling station.

Don’t forget your ID if voting in person.
