Alina Vaduva is your local Labour Councillor for Princes Ward.

Originally from Craiova in Romania, Dr Vaduva  has made her home locally and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of East London. She is head of their Business Development Centre; and she runs her own translation firm.

With over two decades of diverse business experience, she has developed a strong commercial acumen and extensive expertise in customer facing, financial, and research & start-up environments. She is an excellent communicator; a multilingual speaker of seven languages, including French, English, and Italian. She leads the  business advice centre and where she develops and maintains positive relationships with the media, journalists, and public relations professionals.

She cares deeply about the community in Dartford and is passionate about making a difference, helping the who need it, and bringing social justice matters to the fore.  Her motto is “I measure my achievements in positive impacts on other people’s lives”.
