“Really great to be part of the the Planning and Infrastructure Bill Committee which started today.
There’s a lot that the government can learn from Dartford about planning processes – good and bad – one being how long we have had to wait for approval for the Lower Thames Crossing because of the current system.
As the committee goes on, I will continue to share Dartford’s experience and the issues residents still face, to ensure this legislation helps deliver real progress on plans to build a stronger future for Britain and for Dartford, with the local infrastructure we need.”
