Thursday 21st November – Swanscombe and Greenhithe Division, Kent County Council

The Labour Party has announced its candidates for the two by-elections, following the sad death of Cllr Peter Harman.  For the County Council seat, Victoria Akintomide-Akinwamide will be standing: already a popular and energetic borough councillor for Ebbsfleet Ward, she’s looking forward to the opportunity to represent the division at County Hall.

For Greenhithe ward of Dartford Borough Council, our local candidate will be seasoned campaigner Peter Summers. A former Trade Union official, with extensive negotiating experience, Peter has worked tirelessly to help elect our new Labour MP, Jim Dickson.
