Darren Povey

is a Temple Hill councillor, and a resident of 13 years, community champion and passionate Dartford FC supporter.

After his son was involved in a road traffic accident 4 years ago, Darren worked with county councillor Kelly Grehan to form Dartford Safer Roads, which has campaigned across Dartford to highlight the need for traffic safety, particularly around schools. As well as being a parent governor at Temple Hill Primary, Darren volunteers most mornings and afternoons as a lollipop person on St Edmunds Road outside the school.

As your Councillor, he is working hard to give back to his home community, and would welcome the opportunity to represent  people in Dartford East at County Hall.
