Catherine has lived in Longfield Hill for 30 years, and represents the Labour Party on Longfield Parish Council. She has been a tireless campaigner for the party, and is well known in her area as a community champion. She has extensive experience as an education administrator, and has been a clerk to the governors at a large comprehensive school.

Her background in journalism makes her an easy communicator. Catherine has also worked for a number of charities including Victim Support and MIND so has a clear understanding of how council cuts can impact on people’s lives. She is a big music fan, particularly of The Hollies; sings in a choir, and enjoys theatregoing. She is the current membership secretary for Dartford Labour.
