Debbie has lived in Newtown for 25 years and stood for election as your Councillor in May 2023 to give back to her community. Debbie said:
Through speaking to so many residents, you’ve told me you love living here. However, we also share the same concerns, particularly traffic jams, poor air quality and litter. I will use my skills, developed in my over 30 year career as a senior midwife, to develop better services and strengthen our community.
