Councillor Jonathon Hawkes is your local Labour Councillor for Ebbsfleet, serving alongside Councillor Victoria Akintomide-Akinwamide.
Jonathon is leader of the Labour Group and leader of opposition on Dartford Borough Council and is responsible for our local political strategy in local government.
Having previously been a Councillor between 2011 and 2019, including being Leader between 2015 and 2019, Jonathon was elected to serve Ebbsfleet alongside Victoria in May 2023.
Jonathon is an active community champion and has led campaigns on road safety, housing, clean air and tackling traffic congestion in Dartford. He has campaigned for the Lower Thames Crossing for a decade.
As a ward Councillor Jonathon is leading efforts to get a better deal for local people from management agents.
Jonathon is also a trustee of Homestart North West Kent, a local charity that provides vital support to parents of young children in Dartford.
