One year ago, you elected me as your Dartford MP.
It’s been an honour to serve and represent you. Since day one, my team and I have been working hard every day since to stand up for your interests and for our Dartford community.
Whether you voted for me or not, my job is to fight for your priorities and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing day in day out.
A lot has been achieved, but there’s still much more to do. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with everyone across our community to keep listening, keep delivering and keep making Dartford a better place to live.

What I’ve done so far:
Resolved over 4,500+ local cases – from housing and SEND to the NHS and visa support.
Spoke up for Dartford 192 times in Parliament – pressing for better infrastructure, more police powers, and stronger public services.
Visited 160+ community organisations, including 19 schools.
Welcomed nearly 150 Dartford young people to Parliament!
Held 16 face-to-face advice surgeries – solving issues face to face, case by case.
Hosted 6 coffee mornings and 3 public events to meet more residents and hear directly from you.
Voted 237 times in Parliament – backing better workers’ rights, fixing the NHS, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, and supporting historic changes like decriminalising abortion and creating the first smoke-free generation.
Ran the Dartford Half to raise £1200 for brilliant local charity We Are Beams.—————–
Wins we’ve achieved for Dartford so far:
Lower Thames Crossing finally approved – with job recruitment already underway and spades in the ground by 2026.
New police powers to crack down on anti-social behaviour and seize nuisance bikes.
Secured the ability to bid for funding to fix Galley Hill in Swanscombe with the £1bn structures Fund – finally unlocking progress to get Dartford moving.
Investment in a new ICU at Darent Valley to ease A&E pressure and improve patient care.
New free breakfast club at Knockhall Primary School and funding to fix four of our school buildings.—————–
What’s next:• Making sure KCC uses new powers and £52.1mn to fix our bus services and get Dartford Moving.
• SEND reform consultation event – working with government to reform this system and help families get the support they need.
• NHS changes to bring care closer to home and tackle problems earlier.
• Continuing to tackle rip-off managing agents like First Port and protect residents.
• And so much more!
