Kelly Grehan
Deputy Leader of Dartford Labour and Labour Councillor for Temple Hill and Dartford North East
Councillor Kelly Grehan is your local Labour Councillor for Temple Hill, serving alongside Councillor Alina Gaskin and Councillor Darren Povey.
Kelly also represents Dartford North East on Kent County Council, which includes the whole of Bridge and Temple Hill wards and parts of Town, Stone House and Newtown wards.
Kelly lives locally with her husband and two sons, and has done her whole life. She is an active community champion and has worked with charities and businesses to serve local residents for years.
In 2013, Kelly formed Dartford Toy Appeal which now collects thousands of Christmas presents for children supported by charities across Dartford. The appeal is now run under Dartford Deeds Not Words Donation which Kelly runs with two friends. This foundation runs various projects in the community including Dartford Red Box Project and toiletry collections for people in hospitals and care homes and took part in the coordinated community response to the Coronavirus Crisis.
Kelly has passionately campaigned for measures to reduce air pollution locally and is a founder member of Dartford Safer Roads which campaigns for road safety measures. She has run Dartford Litterpickers for over half a decade and has organised an Inter-Generational project amongst older residents and teenagers locally. She also runs community events and during the Coronavirus crisis ran a project to try and ensure all care homes and hospitals in the area had PPE equipment. Kelly is also a trustee of Temple Hill Trust which runs The Enchanted Woodland in Temple Hill.
